RMG 045 – Lethal Weapon (1987)

December 7, 2016

In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are geeking out over Lethal Weapon and

  • getting too old for this $#!+
  • Riggs and Murtaugh
  • other buddy-cop movies
  • and much, much more!

Synopsis:

A pair of mismatched LAPD detectives, Martin Riggs (a former Special Forces soldier) and Roger Murtaugh (a 50-year old veteran of the force), become partners, and together they stumble across a huge drug smuggling operation. It dates back to the Vietnam War and is run by General Peter McAllister, and his right-hand man, Mr. Joshua, and they sure as hell don’t want a couple of cops meddling with their affairs, and will do anything to shut them down!

So… is Riggs really as crazy as he seems, and is Murtaugh as old as he thinks… or will they be able to take down the drug operation?
