RMG 057 – The Vagrant (1992)

March 1, 2017

In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are geeking out over The Vagrant (1992) and

  • liking (seriously) flawed movies
  • narrative tone-deafness
  • wasted potential
  • and much, much more!

UPDATE: This episode was recorded before the passing of Bill Paxton (hence, why we don’t mention it or his career in the episode). We will release a BONUS episode dedicated to this amazing actor (and personal fave of the RMG Crew) very soon. Special thanks to Gamma for making us aware of this glaring omission!

………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Synopsis: Graham Krakowski is a white, middle-class yuppie, who’s just bought a fixer-upper near the city center. Unfortunately for him, an old deformed bum also uses the house, and Krakowski uses a fortune to install security devices, to keep him out! The bum continues to get in and terrorize Graham though, but no-one seems to see anything, except for him… So when people start turning up dead, and the police suspects him, Graham starts wondering if it’s all in his head, and it really is him doing all the killing!
