RMG 33: Jason Lives: Friday the 13th Part VI (1986)

September 14, 2016

In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are geeking out over

  • Jason
  • Director Tom McLoughlin
  • why Joel believes Jason Lives is the greatest of all Friday the 13th movies
  • Alice Cooper
  • and much more!

Synopsis:

Tommy Jarvis, the kid who killed Jason in the fourth installment of the film series, is now all grown up, but is still suffering from nightmares and hallucinations about the killer. To bring an end to this, he and a friend go to the cemetery where Jason’s body is buried, with the intent of digging it up and cremating it!

Once Tommy sees Jason’s maggot-ridden body, he snaps, and starts stabbing it with a piece of the metal fence… This is, of course, a huge mistake ‘cause two bolts of lightning strikes the metal fence post, resurrecting Jason Voorhees, and things kind of go downhill from here…
