In this episode of The Forgotten Flix Podcast, we’re going to have One Crazy Summer (1986) with John Cusack and Demi Moore. This “forgotten” comedy follows Hoops (Cusack), a struggling cartoonist as he travels to Nantucket for the summer with his best friend George (Joel Murray).

There he meets the beautiful Cassandra (Moore), a musician on her way to the island with hopes of saving her ailing grandfather’s home. Hoops also finds himself smack-dab in the middle of fight between the upper-crust, elitist snobs of the island and the blue-collar folks he befriends, including Clay and Egg Stork (Tom Villard and Bobcat Goldthwait) and Ack Ack (Curtis Armstrong).
