In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew is joined, once again, by Mick Strawn, and we’re geeking out over M.A.N.T.I.S. (1994) and
- African-American superheroes
- Mick’s amazing production design work on M.A.N.T.I.S.
- Darrell’s love of this movie (and rage toward the TV show that followed it)
- and much, much more!
Synopsis:
A brilliant, wheelchair-bound scientist invents a form of exo-skeleton called the Mechanically Augmented Neuro Transmitter Interception System, or M.A.N.T.I.S. for short, that turns him into a superhero and gives him the ability to fight the crime wave that is engulfing his city.
