RMG 174: To Live and Die in L.A. (1985)

March 27, 2019

In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are joined, once again, by Karl Huddleston (you can hear more from Karl here), and they’re geeking out over To Live and Die in L.A. (1985) and

  • the seedy underbelly of L.A.
  • the acting
  • the directing
  • the plot-thing
  • and much, much more!

Synopsis:

Richard Chance (William Petersen), a daring and reckless member of the U.S. Secret Service, heads up the Fraud Divison, dealing with counterfeit currency. Eric Masters (Willem Dafoe) is the master at creating his own cash, and on the most-wanted list for the brutal murder of Chance’s long-time partner.

The line between cop and criminal is drawn – the chase begins. From the trendy elegance of Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills to the seedy, neon glow of Hollywood, Chance and Masters waver on both sides of the law in a cat-and-mouse thriller that sets a heart-pounding pace.
