Synopsis:
Insurance investigator John Trent is hired to look into the strange disappearance of Sutter Kane, an enormously popular writer whose horror novels are believed to have caused an epidemic of paranoid schizophrenia among his less stable readers. While driving through New Hampshire, Trent finds himself stuck in Hobb’s End, a fictionalized town in Kane’s latest book where monsters lurk everywhere and nothing is what it seems.
