2016 Spooky Flix Fest – The Frighteners (1996)

October 26, 2016

In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are joined by special guest Wolfman Josh Ligairi (Click Here and Here for more from Josh) and are geeking out over

  • the Michael J. Fox effect
  • the Jackson and Walsh combo
  • why is the movie R?
  • and much, much more!

Synopsis:

After an accident where Frank Bannister loses his wife and, I suppose, parts of his sanity, he gains the ability to see, and talk to, ghosts. He now makes a living as a “ghostbuster” where he makes his dead friends haunt people and Frank is then called in to get rid of them. It’s not the most successful job he’s ever had, and people basically see him as a con artist.

All of a sudden, the townspeople start dying left and right, with no obvious reason, and Frank is soon blamed for the deaths. It is, however, the work of something far more sinister and evil!

And by the way? What’s up with the numbers appearing on people’s forehead?
