Synopsis:

Karl Childers has been institutionalized since childhood, for murdering his mother and her young lover. Now, many years later, he’s deemed fit enough to be released out into the world again!

He goes back to his hometown… gets a job fixing lawnmowers and whatnot… befriends a young boy… but, soon realizes that life on the outside’s not all that easy, and not all people are nice and friendly!
