In this episode, the Retro Movie Geek crew are geeking out over
- whether Billy Crystal is actually funny
- buddy cop movies
- tap dancin’
- Gregory Hines
- and much, much more!
Ray Hughes and Danny Costanzo are two of Chicago’s finest with 16 years on the force. They’re very good at what they do, a bit reckless perhaps, but they get the job done! They’re also very good friends and would do anything for each other!
They have their sights set on an up-and-coming drug dealer named Gonzales, and actually succeed in arresting him during a drug bust. During this bust though, they almost get themselves killed and their boss orders them to take a vacation.
After they spend some time in Key West, the two friends think that maybe, just maybe, it’s time to retire after all, and get out while they’re still alive.
But… when they get back again, they learn that Gonzales is back on the street, and they decide… nay, vow to nail him before retiring! And now things get personal!
